Professional Guidance |
Independent
professional consultants trained and experienced
in the fields of psychotherapeutic child care,
education, and social work offer direction and
support through regular meetings with the team
of adults, supervision of managers, and visits
to the home. Involvement of specialist
services is sought as and when required for
individual cases.

External Additional 1:1 Therapeutic Provision |
In addition to
the 24 hour therapeutic provision offered in the
home, each young person receives
weekly individual therapy / counselling sessions
with an independent and external professional
therapist or counsellor. This form an
integral part of the treatment programme for
each young person placed at Westfields.
Preferred individual therapeutic and counselling
techniques offered include art, drama,
risk analysis
and control, bereavement, anger management, and
conflict resolution. |

Education Provision |
Full-time
placements at The Lioncare School
(S.E.B.D, DfES registered), or local
main-stream senior schools and colleges.
Consistent liaison and support is maintained
between all education settings and the home. |
