"Business As Usualish":
The Lioncare Group provides an Essential Service to the Children in our care; this is their Home their School. Because of this fundamental truth, we have been, and we will continue to remain, open and operating throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic situation.
We have of course needed to make changes to the way we do things in response to the official guidance and advice we are receiving from Government, our Regulators, the DfE, Placing Authorities and other professionals.
We have implemented our Business Continuity Plan and we are regulary reviewing our Specific Covid-19 Contingency plan to maintain "Business as Usualish" whilst ensuring we safeguard and protect the health, welfare, and wellbeing of the children in our care and of our employees.
As the Chief Executive Officer of The Lioncare Group, Responsible Individual for our three Children's Homes, and Chair of our Independent SEMH School, I wish to publicly acknowledge and thank all my colleagues across The Lioncare Group for the amazing effort and loyalty and commitment they continue making in these difficult times, as individuals and as a community, to ensure our children receive the highest possible standards of care and support, and reassurance, at home and at school. I feel immensely proud and humbled by what I am seeing and hearing taking place, and I know that our children are in safe hands.
